RAJESH THARWANI CHIEF STRATEGIST: REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT.
Like his father, Rajesh values the virtues of tradition. Before assuming the role of Chief Strategist at RH, when he returned to UAE after graduating from USA with a Master in Business Administration degree, he was also briefly involved in the International financial industry.
Before launching his career in real estate, Rajesh invested in a number of properties that paid handsome dividends. That discovery led to a career change. He joined his father in building the real estate business and extending the vision of enhancing people’s lives through quality and premium real estate investments.
"I am basically a people person," he suggests. "I like the idea of doing business the old-fashioned way by working with and for people. I share the belief in my father’s personal credo that service to our clients must take precedence over all else."
From an operational perspective, he advocates working smarter to get the best results. In fact, he runs the business by merging family values with business ethics. The RH team, affectionately referred to as "negotiators," is treated as business partners. They are also taught the basic principles of succeeding in their careers as well as the personal lives.
"It is critical that our people lead a well-rounded and comfortable life. They have pre-set goals and a sense of direction. Wealth creation is merely a component in our lives; family and personal well-being are important elements that make them whole."
The concept of family is taken seriously at RH. He works closely with his team overseeing all aspects of the business and building a strong network of contacts for their reference.
"After years in the business, almost 100% of our business is through referrals," he notes. "We get calls from clients based on our reputation."
He takes pride in managing client relationships and driving operational excellence. In that regard, he stays focused on serving clients by tapping profitable opportunities for their long-term benefit.
